Our BMTV ambassadors are leaders who are passionate about centering Black Muslim voices and therefore conveying the BMTV’s mission.
Ambassadors have a genuine desire to create inclusive communities wherever they are using Islam to do so. They are often broken into three sectors: expressing the artistry of BMTV, educating through discussing our experiences, or empowering by forming spaces on college campuses.

Alioune is a junior at Boston College. He wanted to create a Black Muslim organization at his college and through meetings, BMTV has helped him to do so. BMTV has met with Alioune since his freshman year at Boston College, and with a goal of building leaders that can maintain a black Muslim space, Alioune is now the co-president of “Black Muslim’s Path” (BMP) at Boston College. BMP is currently hosting Ramadan Iftars and clothing drives while collaborating with other organizations. We are excited to see what the future of our Ambassador program holds and who else we’ll get to connect with.
